OFSAA Introduces 35-Second Shot Clocks at Ontario High Schools

Recently it was announced that OFSAA has passed a new motion to follow FIBA ruling, using 35-second shot clocks in the Province of Ontario for high school basketball Championships. This new change will come into effect starting September 2016, allowing time for schools to budget for and obtain new 35-second shot clocks in their gymnasiums.  The addition of the shot-clocks will speed up the pace of the game, increase participation through regular substitutions,  eliminate stalling at the end of games and prepare players for the next level.

Nevco and The Scoreboard Man has shot clocks suited to this new ruling and these robust LED shot clocks are portable, wireless and very user friendly.  Contact us for more information.
