THE SCOREBOARD MAN and Nevco announced an exclusive ability to stream scoring data live from Nevco scoreboards to an app on fans’ smart phones, tablet devices or PCs. The industry’s largest private manufacturer of display and scoring solutions has executed an agreement with mobile app developer Scorbitz and now offers new and existing Nevco customers the ability to send game time and scores directly to fans in real time. The free app, which is available for iPhones via the iTunes store or for Android devices using the Google Play Store, also enables fans to look up team schedules and have final scores sent to their devices automatically.
The solution uses proprietary and patented technology from Scorbitz, a technology and social media company that has created the only automated solution to bring scores directly from stadium, gymnasium and ball field scoreboards, to fans’ smart phones, tablets or PCs in real time. Once the easy installation is complete, the technology works automatically, and doesn’t require any additional work or training from scoreboard operators to share scoring data with fans in real time.
The Nevco/Scorbitz solution is more than just cool (and addictive) technology to impress fans. The solution also helps to generate revenue for the customer through the placement of online advertising.
